LIttle more water fun

We decided last minute to follow my family up to Flaming Gorge for some more water skiing, playing on the wave runners, and soaking up the sun.
Cousin K and Lolo enjoying the murky water.

Tad, Trev and Bonnie-she water skiied behind our wave runner.

Cousin B, C and Sporty enjoying some tube time.

Cousin E with Gma Sandi.  This kid NEVER smiles normal for pictures, so this is a great picture of him!

Our newest addition to the family-Ty's wife, Tanya.  She got a pretty good feel for what our crazy family is like and she still came to the next family function!  What a good sport!

Cousin A-Tanya's daughter and my new DARLING niece.

Ty

That's Bonnie skiing.

Z-man found it easy to fall asleep.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  However, he was the BEST little boy on all our water trips!

More Bonnie

My turn!

Action shot!
Wahoo-I am up and going.  I really do love to water ski.
I had to get this picture of Z-man with his bum in the air.  I used to  nap like this when I was his age.  My mom would find me outside on the sidewalk with my derriere up in the air.  So cute!
Enjoying the wave runners.  My dad, Gpa Ted, is like a kid and gets all excited to ride these machines.  I don't blame him-they are so much fun!

Z-man loved being in Tad's boat.
Loving the hair!  We are on our way to the "swing" to have some fun.

We were having some boat issues when Gpa Ted decided to take the swinging plunge.  I promise, it looked and sounded worse than what it was.  We did laugh for a long time, and Gpa Ted was a good sporty about it.

I have been on this swing before, even when it was 10 feet or more higher due to the water level, but for some reason I was totally freaking out~ Even the people behind me were chanting me on and encouraging me to jump.  I totally biffed it by hitting the water, but OH WELL.

Apparently I can't post anymore videos, or at least it won't let me, so to be continued.....

Baseball has ended...

Both Sporty and Trevor are finished with baseball....for now.  Trevor always has a team for fall ball, so that will start up when school starts again.

This year, Sporty played for a really fun, really fantastic team.  As his parents, we enjoyed watching the games, being with the other parents, and appreciated what the coaches did for him and for their team.  Sporty learned a lot, and still has a lot to learn and these coaches can help him out.

Trevor and I counted around 50ish games that were played starting in March and ending last week.  That is A LOT of games.  The tournament that was just played is called the Tournament of Champions.  To get there one's team needs to win a tournament (a qualifying one) or win the league which would guarantee your team a playoff to the tournament.  Well, Sporty's team won a tournament (not a qualifying one-STUPID in my humble opinion) AND they won the league and then the playoff game.

So our little hometown team went down South to play other teams (many of which are all-star teams from all over their particular county/city).  Boy, all the teams were pretty tough.  We ended up winning 2 and losing 2, so we didn't make it to the championship round.  I was okay with that-I will admit that I was a bit burned out of baseball.  I think some of the boys were burned out too-after all, they are only 9.

These boys played tough, they endured a lot and they learned a lot.  We are so proud of the strides they all made individually and as a team.  They had a VERY winning season and I actually am looking forward to next year.
Great job boys!  Thanks Coach Mac, Coach Billy, and Coach Justin :)

Bear Lake Part Un (that's French)

Trevor's parents have made a tradition of going to Bear Lake pretty much every year since we have been married.  Last year we went to Glacier National Park and I think Roger had the shakes from Bear Lake withdrawal....This year we went back to our tradition and headed up North.  We have a grand ol' time while we are there.  My kids love the beach, the water, the cabin...I mean, seriously, what's NOT to love about Bear Lake.  Well, this year, the water is MUCH higher, so I didn't love the weeds you had to trudge through to get to the boat or wave runners, and I didn't love the murky water along the beach, and I especially didn't love that we had to leave early due to another baseball tournament, BUT we enjoyed every moment we were there.

**WARNING-picture overload**
Trevor and Zman on our wave-runner.  We decided this year to not rent-so we bought 2.  Best purchase EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cousin C with Lolo-usually the water is blue and clear, not murky brown.
Gpa Roger in Ben's boat.
Ben loves, Loves, LOVES to be photographed....
Aunt Bradi.  Lolo loves to just sit in the boat and go for rides.
Sporty, Trevor and cousin W on the "ride of their life"

Bradi and I finally talked Lolo into riding the tube.  She was so scared!  But then realized how much fun it is.

However, after the ride was over we somehow managed to tip forward, Bradi fell off and I grabbed Lolo and yanked her back up onto the tube.  We were laughing so hard that Bradi couldn't get back on!
Of course, Diva is posing.

Gma Net enjoying the shade.
Gpa Roger enjoying his book.
Z-man would not leave cousin A alone.

Cousin H seemed to be enjoying his trip.
The 3 Amiga's-cousin E with my girls

The lone Tweenager.  Can you believe he will be 13 and starting 7th grade?  I still can remember holding him as a 3 month old!!!!

The 2 silly boys~cousin W and Sporty with their cool hats!

Z-man loved going out on the wave-runners!
Gpa even took it out for a few runs.
Diva liked the FAST wave runner-but we could only go 30mph

Zman couldn't get enough of riding with his momma!

We had a great time!  Thanks grandma and grandpa.  Thanks for letting Diva stay with you as the rest of us headed down South for the Tournament of Champions.  Sporty's team had a FANTASTIC year and this tournament was a great way to end the season!

UP NEXT:  a recap of the tournament, Flaming Gorge, and Bear Lake Part deux (with my extended family)
